June 2010 Visa Bulletin

Thursday, June 3, 2010

The month of June is that time of the year where kids start schooling again. And that could only mean one thing - tuition!

It's a common concern for parents - You and your spouse forego the vacation that you've been planning. Worse, you make loans with drowning interest if only to, at the very least, complete the downpayment for the forever increasing tuition in June.

This will no longer be a problem for you if you finally get your permanent residence visa to legally live and work in Canada! You have made a decision to get ahead in life by signing up with us. All you need to do now is make a commitment to that decision.

Let's Get Your Application Filed!
The only documents needed to complete the 1st Phase of your FSW application are:

-Resume with your job description;
-Complete application forms;
-Copy of principal applicant's passport bio-page;
-Filing fee payable to “Receiver General for Canada

For the 2nd phase of your application, you are given only 120 days to comply. Do not wait until the last minute before you act on your documents.

We would appreciate knowing what is holding your application up. We would like to help you expedite the submission of your application. Please take us up on our offer. Please get in touch with your assigned Consultant. Let us know if there are concerns that we should be aware of.

FSW Priority list remains the same

There's no changes yet in Canada's 38 High Demand Occupations. Like I have written before, the list may be released last quarter of this year. But this does not mean you don't have an opportunity to live and work in Canada.

Some of those who takes our advise seriously gets a good result. Take for example the case of Mr. Zedfrey Salazar. He attended one of my seminars. Told him he is not eligible yet and taught him how to find jobs in Canada. He did what I said and now, he already got his visa!

Canadian Embassy Manila Processing Time Delay

So you got a positive assessment from Centralized Intake Office (CIO) and submitted your supporting documents to Canadian Visa Office - Manila. Then you were told that you will receive the result within 45 days. It's more than 2 months now and you haven't heard from them yet?

Please don't worry. Avoid unnecessary stress. It has nothing to do with your documents. It's not you, it's the embassy, not you.

Processing time to get the result is now within 90 days after receipt. That used to be within 45 days.

We will follow up status of your application after a reasonable allowance. Processing period for new Federal Skilled Worker program is still within 6-12 months.

PR Visa Processing Status (Filed before Feb 27, 2008)
The Canadian Visa Office in Manila is yet to finish applications filed in 2004. The latest update notice we received are for those whose applications were filed October 28, 2004. It's slowly moving.
