A salute to all workers of the world!

Canadian Immigration Consultancy celebrated Labor Day yesterday by having an Immigrants Visa Party at Aristocrat Restaurant in Malate Manila. A pre-departure orientation was held for new visa grantees. All their sacrifices paid off, they will soon be moving to Canada!

PR Visa Processing Status

Consultations on the new Immigration Priorities ended on April 16, 2010. As of this writing, there is no official announcements yet for the 2010 High Demand Occupations. Only those in the current list of high demand occupations, with an Arranged Employment Opinion or those currently in Canada and have at least one year experience may be processed under Federal Skilled Worker program.

Current processing period is still 6-12 months from the time the Visa Office receive full application package, after assessment from Centralized Intake Office (CIO).

The Canadian Visa Office in Manila is yet to finish applications filed in 2004. The latest update notice we received are for those whose applications were filed October 25, 2004. It's slowly moving.

Time is of Essence
We have said it before and we are saying it again. Time is of essence. Immigration priorities may change soon. It is to your advantage if we get your application filed before these changes. Remember the INTC Example.
